  1. Picked up a new metal sign for the side of the locker at work... She was not amused when I got it...
  2. Yep, DRT, dropped BOF his pistols on the floor. Didn't even wiggle.
  3. I gave you a hint, Stuart. Research the NFA, 1934. Come on, shooter, look at that law. It's only 83 years old, in my country's history. You know everything about Australia's gun laws? You're close, proximity-wise. Shiit, I don't. Don't care. Doesn't affect me. I don't know much about Canadian gun laws either, and they're even closer to me. Doesn't affect me, but the more I read and learn, the more those Canuck laws boggle my mind. You're not expected to know about US laws, but with them being 83 years old now, don't expect us to give you answers on why they make sense, or not. Look into the GCA, 1968 while you're at it. Research some of Bill Clinton's genius, too, from 1994. Shiit, research CALIFORNIA gun laws...
  4. Throw her off the bed, rip off the mattress... He looks like a terrorist. Well, there would really be none of that. Checking the pictures later, all all,and THEN finding that dude's terroristic face peeking out. Kick her ass OUT, would happen first. Have fun with your new Ahmed-man, baby. Adios.
  5. I carry 230gr ball ammo in the .45s, and don't worry about the fancy super-lethal killin' shiit. I don't reload carry ammo - only off-the-shelf shiit. Hits are hits, no matter what the caliber, so why worry about them bleeding out faster from super-lethal ammo? Well, LEOs aside, of course - I get that, and their paperwork. If put in the situation to pull the pistol for self defense, I'm not stopping the firing-pin-to-primer exercise until the mag is empty, or the threat doesn't wiggle and reach for their weapon anymore. If the mag is empty, and the threat still wiggles, reload and repeat. If the NEXT mag is empty, and the threat still wiggles, reload and repeat. Etc. On that note, I shoot up what's in the carry magazines every range trip. Reload them before leaving the DDTF (Dedicated Desert Test Facility) and continue business as usual. With new ammo.
  6. National Firearms Act, 1934. Apparently, suppressors make you shoot 1/10th MOA at 550 yards, so that means they're too lethal for American Citizens to own, without a lengthy check beforehand.
  7. If you came home after being away, snapped a photo of your chick, then REALLY looked at it later... and found this... What would you do?
  8. Gun Store Owner Shoots Gunman in Attempted Robbery http://www.outdoorhub.com/news/2017/01/10/warning-graphic-video-gun-store-owner-shoots-gunman-attempted-robbery/
  9. That was all you, man - you're the one that caught it in the first place. Beers to you.
  10. It has to be a DPMS G2 upper. And that target you posted is NOT shot from 500 meters. 50 meters, okay. That's not from shots taken on that paper from 500 meters.
  11. MikeD, you need to link up with Barrett, in this thread below, and sell him your upper receiver... I'm just sayin'...
  12. Damn good lookin' out, guys!
  13. There's only 2 Kahles scopes that max at x24. The 624i and 624i MOAK. The MOAK is in MOA, the 624i in Mils. Adjustments on those turrets are 1/4 MOA on the MOAK, and 1/10th Mil on the other. 1 Mil at 100 yards is 3.6 inches, so the 624i is gonna move you 0.36 inches per click at 100 yards. Times that by 5.5 for your 550 yards, and each click moves you 1.98 inches - for each click. Now, the MOAK... 1/4 MOA is roughly 0.25 inches at 100 yards, x 5.5... just over1.4 inches, per click. So, you said you adjusted it a couple clicks, and were on, but your target group moved 1 inch down... Each click would move you more than an inch. Your (approximate) shot group size is 1/2" x 1/2", which would be about 1/10th MOA shooting, at 500 meters, or 550 yards. I think your stated 500m target is BS. That wasn't shot at 500m. Just come clean about it.
  14. Jesus, dude, where have you been? Long time, no see...
  15. broadbillodin, what scope is on that rifle?
  16. Looks to be 1" squares based on those .30-caliber holes from his 30-06. 500m, so about 550yards, and looking like 1/2" spread, MAX... I'm thinking bullshiit. Maybe I'm incorrect.
  17. That is probably very, very true...
  18. We gotta fix this, brother.
  19. Sonsabitches...
  20. That buttstock is hideous... That would get swapped right away...
  21. If you purchased this rifle, right here ^^^, you would have the advantage of the free-floated handguard. You'd sacrifice the triangular handguard look, but the trade-off is worth it. Then, you add TWO parts, and you've got the look you're after. I'd recommend the Armalite EA5050 detachable carry handle, but it's out of stock EVERYWHERE, and not looking good for availability. So... the DPMS equivalent. Finally, add the Armalite clamp-on fixed front sight base. Bingo. Done.
  22. First, that's not the G2 from DPMS. They haven't made a G2 with that old-style Hi-Rider upper receiver. That's an old-school LR308 configuration. That upper receiver isn't going to align with any kind of triangular front sight base, to give you the look you're after.
  23. I saw the 10 BA Stealth today, in .308 Win. It was marked at $1,050, no tax... Tempting, but I don't need ANOTHER .308 bolt gun...
