  1. NoDak is more known for their 10/22 receivers, which kick ass.
  2. How about linking the information in here, since you know exactly where it is... That would be a start, to back your claims up. Also, the specific question I asked of you was this: " DO you have ANY use-experience with either MagPul mags or Lancers?" You didn't answer it. Just another smartassed comment...
  3. DO you have ANY use-experience with either MagPul mags or Lancers? I'm not talking about just loading an empty mag in an unfinished rifle, here. USE. Also, YOU are the only person I've ever heard of, ever, that's "noted that the inner front wall of magpul magazines tend to wear grooves..." You are the one spreading that info... And just you...
  4. You bought this? For the team? Your original link was cut off, brother... https://www.tombstonetactical.com/catalog/dpms/308-lr-05-panther-lr-308-lower-receiver-308win-black-stripped/ Nevermind - that's the one. Didn't come up in a part # search. That's the DPMS Part # for it, man - get after it!
  5. Hell yeah - I'm with that fool ^^^...
  6. Gonna be a damn fine looking rifle! Is this gonna be the .45 Raptor?...
  7. I think Robo caught this schit, too...
  8. That's exactly why I recommended the Tubb Final Finish for you, before you spend money on a new barrel - when you really might not need to. Check into the Final Finish, read up on it, and see if you think it would help you. I think it would help you, if this is a barrel issue.
  9. Apparently, not very well... Two in a row that are hand lapped, and pitted?...
  10. Looks like the Gen 2 is specific for 308s, and already had this: H3 buffer might work, but take internal depth measurements first...
  11. Don't know about the UBR Gen 2, but you should research it - the UBR receiver extension is integrated into the stock. You cannot change the receiver extension. So, on a 308AR, the only thing you can do is run the UBR, and a Slash buffer, for reliable operation. Bolt catch, pivot pin, takedown pin...
  12. It's not a match grade barrel that's been hand-lapped and finished. It's a factory rack-grade barrel, mass produced. Before you go and buy a new barrel, try a box or two of Tubb Final Finish ammo. http://www.davidtubb.com/final-finish-loaded-ammo/finalfinish-loadedammo-308
  13. Just a beefed up version of what we can buy, and the obvious conversion to JP8. Saw this one 2 years ago, in person - it's impressive. Again, it's a Polaris... The Polaris website on it: http://military.polaris.com/en-us/combat/dagor-military-tan/
  14. Double http tags at the beginning, that's why... Hit this: http://abc7.com/news/man-fatally-shot-by-police-in-el-cajon-identified-as-protests-continue/1530816/
  15. Either one of those will be great quality, Shepp.
  16. Midwest Industries is another option, on their earlier-generation handguards. With that, design-wise, would be Troy and Yankee Hill Machine, as well.
  17. Nope, won't happen. When I did it, it was with RCBS dies, using the sizing die to crimp.
  18. SS, what does the shoulder look like on the ones that were sticking? Not after firing, though - they'll fire form to the chamber dimensions. Reason I ask is... I got a little heavy with crimping on some of mine, and it actually pushed the shoulder down (out, somewhat). Those didn't wanna chamber well, and were mortared to get out.
  19. Looks like that's the wrong rail on there - for the height difference. That gap ain't bad... AND!!! I wanna try that sauce!!!
  20. My Fortis does just fine, and it's on the AP receiver set... It's a great rail, and doesn't suk in the least... The rail is in this thread:
  21. Damn great article, brother. Good find.
  22. There are very few 180s that you can even load to magazine-length. Most 180s, you can't. ^^^ He said it... Those .308" projectiles that go up to 225gr are for different calibers, mainly. Think 300 Win Mag, and the sort. Hornady DOES make a 198gr HPBT that you can load to mag length, and a 200gr ELD-X that you can load to mag length... Here's the 200 load data: ReloadingData308Win200grELDX.pdf A 1:10" twist should shoot both of those ^^^ just fine. The original, optimal twist rate for 175s from a gas gun was determined to be 1:11.25", by KAC, and used on the M110 production rifles.
