So, hell yeah. It's gonna be able to take a beating. Maybe not on a .338 Lapua Magnum, but the .308 Win is gonna be just fine with it.
  2. MagPul FDE Added some PRS propaganda...
  3. Just picked up and zeroed the 4-14 version of that - VERY nice scope!
  4. WTF
  5. I did the Fulton 18.5" on my first 308AR. One hell of a barrel.
  6. Had to go find it...
  7. I've got one on a 20" 5.56 precision gun - very nice stock. If you search out deals, you can find one for around $225. Sometimes they go on sale for right around $200. Gotta be quick to find them at that, though.

Here's the Primary Arms tutorial vid that they made, just for this scope. This reticle is pretty damn nice, and very easy to use. Can't say enough about this scope, and the price is unreal. I WILL be picking up more of these scopes.
  9. Same here.
  10. Without weight as an issue, the MagPul PRS. Not much out there with the same amount of adjustment that it has.
  11. There's really only one place to look for the ambi safety - Battle Arms Development. Pick your lever configuration. There might be others, but the quality and performance is unmatched.
  12. Yep, he did it. He went full-on Glock Fag! EDIT - Stain is gonna GET ME for that one...
  13. Hornady doesn't make a 155 grain FMJ BT projectile.

I think you've pushed that trigger before, and I wasn't interested then. It has a Timney that I'm very happy with, but thanks for the input, again.
  15. You are HOOKED!!!

    Redid the 700

Zero was easy - borestighted the scope previously. Set up a target at 50 yards to tighten it up, again at 100 yards to do the same, and started smacking the 12" gong dropped out at 200 yards. Great scope. Love the thing, and for the price, I don't think you can beat it. Kim tore up the gong on the Mk12. Nice spot in the shade... Jammin' pistol mags... Freak... Sticks... Terrain...

Changed a few minor things out with the Rem 700 AAC SD rifle. Just a few. Put the rig in a MagPul Hunter 700 stock with MagPul's DBM setup. Mounted up the Primary Arms 4-14x44 Scope with ACSS HUD DMR Reticle. Mounted it in (of course) Warne Maxima steel rings. Added a Vortex 30mm scope bubble level to it. Sighting in the scope this afternoon, so more details will come up soon. The Protector Of Freedom is always standing guard, as well - TactiCat rules.
  20. As long as you've got pics of the actual items being sold, and not something pulled from the web somewhere, then it satisfies the rule requirement. I hope you understand why this rule is in place - it's not personal.
  21. dpete, check this out - #2. The member earlier wasn't kidding, and it might sound stupid to you in this instance, but rules are rules.
  22. That's a touch on the small size. What gas system is this - carbine, midlength, or rifle? What's the approximate length of the gas tube, if you're not sure of the gas system?
  23. In the scenario of a non-adjustable gas block, the only issue for an undergassed gun is to drill up the gas port. As long as you're sure the adjustable gas block isn't the issue, might as well yank it off and measure the gas port diameter in the barrel. Even a wide-open adjustable gas block isn't gonna deliver enough gas pressure, if that gas port is undersized. Report the result of the gas port size in this thread - we have a pretty good idea is what you'll need, diameter-wise, and we'll certainly recognize a too-small port diameter.
