  1. His pile of Anderson lowers is smaller now. I made a visit last week... <lmao>
  2. Damn! I love them! <lmao>

    Trailer #2

Like Mike on range brass!!! <lmao>
  4. They don't coil bind. If it did, that's a clear indication that something is wrong with your parts combination. Also, you don't have a standard carbine RE... Suggested that for one simple reason - fastest, most effecient way to deermine how far you're off on the length. 1 quarter? 2? Or 3? The thickness of a quarter is 0.066". You were also talking about machining a spacer, if I recall correctly. Stack quarters, count quarters, multiple, machine. Done. That's the easy way, and you probably have all the "precision measurement slugs" right in your pocket. Tell you this much - pistol-caliber ARs that run on blowback operation, those BCGs have more travel because they're shorter - there's no bolt. They also, like 308ARs, break bolt stops when they overtravel. I didn't buy a special, longer 9mm buffer for my 9mm AR. They exist, though. I run the H3 buffer in it, with $1.75 in the end of the extension. Same amount of money in the back of my 45AR. It's a simple decision. <thumbsup> You were given an easy way to measure the excess distance, and instead, you try to turn it around as some half-assed backyard fix. when it's not, and you didn't understand the reasoning for the suggestion in the first place... Your call...
  5. That is pretty damn awesome.
  6. You gotta pin it to win it... :hethan:
  7. Email Justin at CNC Guns. <thumbsup>
  8. It hits, everytime you fire it. Everytime.
  9. Before this thread closes - if a Mod can go in there and remove this guy's cellphone number from his first post... That will help him in the future. OP, don't ever post your cellphone number in the interwebz. Not a good move.
  10. Ditto. Not even worried, and didn't care when it would arrive. <thumbsup>
  11. I'd like to hear from N Jensen on seating just off the lands - or how far to seat off the lands. That's gonna be the one guy here that has the most experience on that... <thumbsup>
  12. Not gonna do it. Not this time. Instead, I'll take a different approach. Hey, dprice, there's a much better dedicated setup out there than the bazooka brothers running modified grease gun mags. CNC Guns does a dedicated lower that uses stock, standard grease gun mags. Unmodified. I think we talked about this 3 years ago. You didn't dig deep enough...
  13. Use a 1" dowel, put some black shoe polish on the end if it, insert it into the receiver extension - and get black shoe polish onto the end of the receiver extension, inside. Make sure the poly bumper on the end of your buffer is clean, and assemble parts. Shoot one (1) round. Remove buffer, and look at the black shoe polish on the end of your buffer... When you see the black shoe polish on the end of your buffer, tell me it didn't contact the end of the receiver extension... <thumbsup>
  14. Yep, Amen. I know I've posted this before, but it belongs in this thread, too. “The Gun Is Civilization” By Maj. L. Caudill, USMC (Ret) Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that’s it. In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some. When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force. The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender. There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a [armed] mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat – it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed. People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly. Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable. When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation… And that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act. By Maj. L. Caudill USMC (Ret.)
  15. Well... what's it look like at 7500 rpm?... Other v-twins can do it... <laughs>
  16. You got smacked. You liked it, didn't you?... <lmao>

  18. Isn't that the reason we're all here, anyway?... <dontknow>
  19. I'm not taking the bait... <lmao>
  20. if that fails to cure it, take it in to Virginia Arms and turn in over to Robb, the armorer there.
  21. I'm disappointed in their response - they've got some damn smart people that you can talk to, but it sounds like you didn't get any farther than a receptionist. I'd call them back, and ask to speak to someone that can answer some technical questions. Schit, the guys i talked to a SHOT a couple years ago were the technical guys - I'm certain that there is someone there that can answer your question(s). Just not the lady at the counter...
  22. Fuk that. I didn't see ONE burnout or wheelie. Not one. I like to ask this of all the American V-Twin guys, also - what's your numbers look like at 7,500 rpm?... <lmao>

    Discuss.

Can I PICK the Mod that i think would do that?! <lmao>
  24. Hey, ironmonster - I'm not calling YOU one of those arseholes. Just want you to know that, before you go off again. We deal with the fukwads all the time.
  25. Yep. <thumbsup> I'd wear jungle boots, so I could get better traction. :hethan:
