I used to use the TAC exclusively to load clone Mk262 ammo, and it got hard to find. I switched to Varget, and worked up a good 77gr load with it, and it got hard to find. I now load that 5.56 heavy 77gr with 24.0 grains of RL15, and hope it doesn't get hard to find... <lmao> ...and now you're buying 8lbs of TAC. My, how we go round and round... :banana:

0.094" for the gas port. Seems large, as that's what you run for a 300BLK barrel (or close to it). I can't remember what my Fulton .308 barrel was, and those notes are long gone now. Someone here will have a reference. I'll go measure my unbuilt Rainier 18" barrel and report back in here. Rainier Arms Select 18" SS barrel, midlength gas system, 0.080" gas port in the barrel.

I almost went that route on the short 300BLK. At the last minute, I switched it up to the MI design instead. I'll run one of these rails one day.

For grenades, from a grenade launcher. Not for bullets. Airburst, above the target, in which the target was in defilade.

Bull$hit. I started the first company of Interpreters, and stood that company up in January 2006; I was the very first First Sergeant of that unit. They'd already been in the Army for 1.5 years at that time, but were "attached' to the unit they were initially sent overseas with, for their entire 730 days of mobilization. They had no parent unit. Despite what YOU think you know, illegals are NOT allowed to join any Armed Service. Green Card Holders are, but not illegals. What you stated was pure bull$hit.

Same here, no issues reloading it. I don't use the 5.56 to make into 300BLK anymore, but reloading it as what it was works fine.

Organizations and branches have already been stated. Participants are known, and not new units. You can pretty much bet that if any of the Special Operations units were given orders to conduct operations against American Citizens, almost unanimously they would tell their Chain Of Command to go fuk themselves.

This original thread was about the Spike's .308 billet set, and that never made it to market. You should start a NEW thread about the Spike's forged set, and run with scissors in it. <thumbsup>

That's the very reason I've been loading ALL my 300BLK and "range-ammo .308 Win" with the Hornady 150gr FMJBT projectiles. Those little bastards are pretty impressive.
