  1. What are the 'many untold variables" you speak of?
  2. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! AGAIN?!!? I'm about to blow out an ass-gasket here.
  3. Sheit no - he had TWO very valid excuses buried in there - either one is a winner... <lmao> Those two can take it as a legitimate excuse, any day... :hethan:
  4. Guide gun, pretty sure it was close to 18" barrel. I know for damn sure that it was painful to shoot. Custom rifle, hand built, falling block action. It was brutal. But, it was SWEET!
  5. They HURT. beachmaster's dad had the 500 lever rifle out last trip, shooting heavy loads. Pure EVIL.
  6. None taken, you wiseass...
  7. You gonna talk about it, or are you gonna BE about it...

  9. Yeah, he has already - you go fuk yourself, chase... :fawkdance:
  10. Chase, you need to figure out a way to come shoot with us in the desert... <thumbsup> We will host you well. We won't be shooting any trap-door loads from the 45-70, and we're danger-close on the Ruger #1 loads from the levers. You just have to experience it... You'll feel it, I guarantee that... <lmao>

You're in the area now - You NEED to hit Evans Creek and Elbe Hills... Rimrock is badass, too. Get your ass out there... :hethan: If I was still back there, I'd lead you through. <thumbsup>

That last pic was at Evans Creek ORV Area - if you made it to the top, then you recongnize it... :)) Evans Creek ORV Area, Carbonado, WA. <thumbsup> The 311, 311A were my favorites. They got DEEP over time! Made me go from a 3 1/2" Superlift setup to a 6" ProComp Coil Conversion on the Black-N-Blue Bruise - the Wrangler... <lmao>

Hans, it's a Jeep thing - they don't understand... :stfu2: Don't worry about them... :happydrunks:
  15. You mean "hump it" or take it to a taxidermist?!... <lmao> :yup:
  16. I like it - and I'm so damn glad I only have one. However, I must caution you - the older they get, the more expensive they are... <lmao>
  17. Fuk that snake. That thing needs the giant dude from Last of the Mohicans killing it with that warclub-from-hell. *** For those that don't know, Ray has ALWAYS had issues posting pics... <lmao>
  18. I may have to get off my ass and order another one...
  19. Call them up tomorrow and talk to them about it - they'll gladly talk to you. Give them all the rifle specifics (build stats) and firing specifics (with can, without can, temp, other weather, etc.), with rifle round count, and they should be able to shed some insight into what's going on.
  20. In some powders, to get what you want, you'll have compressed loads. It just works out that way - never "just decide" to make your own compressed loads - if you don't find a reference for a compressed load that comes from a published load data book, then don't even play with it. Always be cautious with compressed loads, and always use a published source for information - multiple published sources if you can.
  21. Nope, and I've used it - they load very good ammunition. <thumbsup>
  22. The are very, very useful in pistol-caliber ARs, because blowback-operated systems are very hard on hammer pins. I have a set in my AR45 and the 9mm AR. I have a spare set of them in the toolbox, and they'll be going to use pretty soon. I have a decent stainless steel trigger system that i did a little polishing to - it's not special, but it is a decent trigger. I've got the perfect build going on that I can use it in, but the damn thing broke the j-spring in the hammer. it won't keep a hammer pin in place to save it's life, and as soon as it starts to walk, the rifle doubles - one pull, two shots. Not good. The spare set of KNS pins will be used in that build, with that trigger, for that reason. J-springs aren't easy to find, fast to get, or easy to change. Fuk the J-spring replacement, or throwing a3way the trigger. KNS pins will save it. You better bet that if I had a registered full-auto lower, I'd have KNS pins in it, and i wouldn't run a blowback-operated AR without them. They have their place.
  23. that would make me check the gas port size, and bring it up one increment in the drill index chart. <thumbsup>
  24. Chase, that one linked is fully machined and ready to put together...
