  1. DPMS is an option, but I have no idea on what their built-upper stocking levels are. Might be worth a call to them. The more important question is: What exact lower are you working with here? That will guide recommendations more than anything else.
  2. Just wait until you shoot a couple of my rifles, brother. You simply just don't know how fucked you are yet - but you will! <lmao> Geissele SSA, SSA-E, S3G, and Hi-Speed DMR, ALG ACT, Jard 2lb, Jard 2.5lb, Spikes, Armalite NM (adjusted light), ATC SR Gold, ... Once you shoot those triggers, and others, you'll shat all over yourself and want some - or all... :hethan:
  3. Since 19,3,13,20 and 7 are now taken, I will further take 1,2,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18... All numbers covered now. And you didn't say we couldn't enter more than once... <lmao> Who was closest on either side - of the numbers I didn't take? I need to know who to send it to after I've used and abused it... :hethan:

    Which Geissele?

You'd be shocked, then, with the Super 3 Gun trigger in one of those small ARs.
  5. Heavy 300 Win Mag loads, too
  6. I'm in - I pick # 19. :))
  7. Y'all will love this one... <lmao>
  8. Right on, ss!!! I'm surprised that the 325s were faster than the 300s - that is awesome information for that Hornady ammo. Very well done, my good man!
  9. ^^^ True, very true brother - but you and I both know that the Big ARs function alot better once all those surfaces are mated/matched. <thumbsup>
  10. <lmao> <laughs>
  11. Brother Jon, he has been building some badass drag bikes for many, many years... That sickness is already all over him... <lmao>
  12. You could have your barrel threaded, man, and it would be alot cheaper than buying a new barrel. There are several good AR Gunsmiths out there in the country that you can send your upper to, and they'll do it. If you removed your barrel first and just shipped it, it would be even cheaper. ADCO comes to mind first. Almost any muzzle device you install will help, over the setup you have now. Any kind of comp or brake. The good thing is, if you get one and don't like it, sell it and get another design.
  13. Sorry I was harsh, Ed - don't want to see you pointing stubs at people...
  14. Picked up a new semi-auto shotgun about 4.5 years ago. Read alot about it for about a year prior, before I could even find one. Once I found it, it really did need to be broken in. "Cycle some heavy loads through it before you try any #6 or reduced loads..." That's exactly what I did, and I've never had an issue with it. Anything that is mechanical, and brand new requires a break in period. Parts have to mate together and work together. Should a new Armalite AR-10 function straight from the box? Yes, I believe it should. However, it's gonna function straight from the box better is it's well lubed and not bone dry, and it's gonna function even better still once it's broken in. My $0.02.
  15. Go ahead and buy the Armalite AR-10 bolt catch, and don't think twice about it. <thumbsup>
  16. I think you're trying to go too fast, man. Too much at one time. If the max published load on those Speer 150gr softpoints was 49.0 grains, you shouldn't have been loading to max load in the first place. Wrong projectiles, #1... anyway... No matter how much I like seeing Shibi's mashed-a$s thumb, I don't want to see you posting pictures like this... You're a new reloader. Slow down, man... Load some minimum loads, and go shoot them... See how they do...
  17. You need to slow down a little on the reloading operations, and read the reloading books that you have available. Buy several manufacturer's reloading manuals, and read the beginning chapters - the steps of reloading. You're gonna be an organ donor in no time, if you don't heed that advice. I like you, man, despite what you might think - but you're your own timebomb right now...
  18. Son, you are NOT shooting a fucking Speer 150gr Soft Point bullet. You need to learn more about reading reloading data, or you're gonna blow yourself up. I $hit you not.
  19. Different powder - don't screw yourself by thinking you're okay, based off someone else's powder charge with a different powder. You'll lose an eye...
  20. Don't necessarily seat to the cannelure, depending on your 300 AAC Blackout load... I think I said that before - hope that wasn't what you saw. Load your .308 Win loads to the suggested magazine-length loading, for your .308 AR.

    lc vs lclr

My thoughts on Winchester brass is - LC is superior. Hope that helps...
  22. Looks like you're ignoring your suggestions. You need a different muzzle device, first.
  23. Still might not work on those small bananas... <lmao>
  24. Ray, you don't quite understand how fully fucked you are right now... I know you, and you're in so deep it's not even funny... <lmao>
