Microgunner
Just upped mine to Benefactor. That's as high as you can go without joining the Golden Eagles which is an additional $200 per year. Join or upgrade if you can.
planeflyer21
If just 25% of gun owners joined, that would be 20-25 MILLION members. 20 years ago (and more) they made some real boob decisions but they are coming around.

Magwa
It is sad beyond belief that we even need the NRA it is sad that Americans have grown spineless and gutless it is so very sad that so many people do not see the great gift the founding fathers gave us , all they can do is Bitch when all you have to do is look at all the different countries where the people are trodden and subdued simple because they can not defend themselves....... to be quite honest it is disgusting.... planeflyer21
Remember that the NRA and the NRA-ILA are two separate organizations. The National Rifle Association was formed to train marksmanship skills (by Union veterans Col. Church and Gen. Wingate) to the civilian masses, after the poor showing by Union troops in the war between the states (and the wonderful riflemanship displayed by Southerners). While they may have been tweaked over the past 150 years, the training programs started by NRA were adopted by all branches of the military, then tweaked for law enforcement. Media are starting to recognize GOA and SAF as pertinent lobbying organizations, especially after the non-NRA-ILA victory over the D.C. gun ban. DNP
Right on Micro! Just reading through some of the bennefits...if you are LE and you are killed in the line of duty you have $25,000 coverage from NRA. That's a great additional coverage for a membership worth having in the first place. Their 5000 to 10000 for annual and life members only covers to, from, or at a NRA event or in a hunting accident.
