New Offerings From Armalite

I just noticed ArmaLite has some new offering up on the web site;

They priced me out of the above pistol offering I was hoping to get.

Then there is a new AR-10 called the VSR;

They even got into the AR-15 piston rifle market;

I sure hope my LGS will be able to get me better prices, they aren't that competitive so far.

I see new bells and whistles, but not that impressed. Maybe a piston AR10 would have done it. When they start demonstrating what the performance of these new rifles are, I will start paying more attention. Will the 3 gun AR10 outshoot my AR10T carbine for quite a bit more money? I need to see the proof for those prices. That money would buy a lot of ammo.

I've noticed that the T and the SASS are the only rifles left with an accuracy claim..............

Noticed that both those new models of the AR-10 are the P-mag compiiant ones.  Interesting.

B model Gen II are, I'm afraid, going to be a thing of the past.

Yeah. I think that they're bowing to the pressure of people wanting to use the Pmags. All of the new 10's that they're showing are of the "A" flavor. I kinda agree with Sisco on this one. The "B" seems to be falling to the back of the pack.

 

That's fine though. I'm happy with the one I bought, and the other four that I've built over the years. The "B" is the Armalite that I first fell in love with. :love4: And I'll stick with the girl that I brought to the dance. I'll leave the Pmags for the few DPMS/SR25 style rifles that I have.
