Veterans' Week Launch

That was GREAT! The younger guys may not think us old codgers ever had a all night hard on, or ever messed around during bad times, but we did have our share of good times and had a group of friends to die for. Most of my old friends have been promoted to glory or a couple are in a nursing home, while I wonder why I'm still here, forked end down and walking around,  can still shoot a score of 228 score on the old Marine Corp 50 round qualifying course with my M1, getting down and up from the prone position is the hardest part of the exercise.

I'm also still cussing the present bunch of turds in political control.  I think I'll go out to the shop and have a cold one....

Awesome. My best friend in high school went to a different college and we lost touch. He wrote me a letter telling me to not come over to this place because it is bad. I got the letter after I was in- country about 2 weeks.

Another good one, Derek is part of the ART15 crew and IMO one bad ass mother f&@ker. I like seeing his posts because they remind me not to be a pussy and that my bad day could be worse.

I said it on my Facebook page early this morning and I'll say it again here, our warriors are what make this country the greatest country in the world! A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to every veteran out there!

To each and every warrior who ever stood with his brothers to fight for this country I salute you one and all and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your service, To all the warriors who gave their lives for this country save me a place at the camp fire I will thank you when I get there, your service to your people and your country  will never be forgotten........ Thank you dad for your service of 30 years and two wars I love you and I miss you ......

We pray for our Veterans and our Troops everyday at the dinner table, that God watches over them all and thier families.Everyday is Veterans day at our home.God bless you all.
