dpete Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 As the title says, will an ACT trigger work in a 308AR? I'm thinking of upgrading and have read good reviews about them in AR15s but can't seem to find anything about the 308s. Any experiences in 308?
survivalshop Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 I've used them & they work fine . My triggers settled out to about 5 # , I have one in a AR 15 Carbine that came out of my 308AR Carbine , Replaced by Rough Justice FCG from MechArmor . I think my 300BLK has one residing in it also . I like them .
392heminut Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) I've got two of them in AR-15's and think they are a great trigger for the price, a definite improvement over a milspec trigger! I use the JP Enhanced Reliability springs with them and they both run about 4.5# on the pull. One was in my DPMS LR308 for quite a while until I replaced it with a Mech Armor Rough Justice trigger and I never had a problem with it in the 308. Edited January 9, 2016 by 392heminut
Robocop1051 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 I think the new ACT triggers come with two sets of springs. I have an older ACT and I replaced the combat spring with a JP yellow spring. It's at close to 4# now.
