Newb      Why ask question upon question ...then when someone gives you advice you argue the point and take it further down the road.....and you are starting to get a bit loquacious about all this too       :laffs:     Wash

You beat me to it. Idk why I keep coming back n here but I feel I need to read everything as a mod.

I could go on but I'll just leave this here

Sling is not completely adj. yet , have to double loop sling through Buckle so it will not ever move . Front is attached to an Uncle Mike quick detachable swivel on the JP 's VTac Hand Guard supplied Swivel stud , will be replaced with something attached to the 4" Rail I mounted under the front of the Hand Guard , where a BiPod will also go.

Why on Mega? I heard they are very tight fitting. Which, I suppose is a good thing. Any other reason? Also, what is that weird set screw they advertise as being a selling point. About tolerance between the upper and lower.

What set are you currently using?

FWIW, I would not be surprised if Rainer Arms sets are actually manufactured by Mega.  Mega made a forged Rainier Arms AR-15 set I have.  Billet might be another thing altogether, although Billet seems to be Mega's bread and butter, with forging more of a hobby for them.

I'm pretty sure Mega makes the Ranier sets.
