cheap-bastidge Posted May 21, 2018 Report Posted May 21, 2018 I put together a PA10 gen 2 in .308 this spring. Started with a stripped lower, and got the parts together. Went with 20" stainless barrel 1:10 twist with mlok rail and an aftermarket stainless flash hider that will double as a stabby bit. Tomorrow my Athlon 8-34x56 scope arrives and we will be off to the range next week for the holiday weekend. I have had it out previously for break in, using my 7.62 reloads and that worked fine. (once fired lake city brass - you NEED a small base sizing die for it) , It performed well considering I was using a $10 red dot for break in. I also put a magpul SL stock on it, along with a POF 3.5 lb straight shoe drop in trigger. I am hoping this works out as good as my PSA ar-15 with the same trigger , stock, and scope which proved to be a sub MOA gun for really good price. the neat part, the stripped lower was a matched set, AR-15 and AR-10 so they have the same exact serial numbers with different prefixes.
cheap-bastidge Posted May 21, 2018 Report Posted May 21, 2018 Does anyone here know if there is any sort of extended bolt release that will fit the PA10 lowers? I know the BAD lever is out of the question. And, their bolt release is a proprietary one, so I am doubtful the phase 5 would work.
