Sisco Posted April 22, 2017 Report Posted April 22, 2017 Went out with a friend and his son yesterday. In four hours 10 fish, 5 coho and 5 browns. With the busted wing I steered the boat over fish and they reeled them in. System won't let me upload pictures for some reason.
shepp Posted April 22, 2017 Report Posted April 22, 2017 I've yet to be out on open water, it's killing me
Sisco Posted April 22, 2017 Author Report Posted April 22, 2017 Talk about a crazy spring. Thursday We had a snow storm with 3 foot waves in the bay. Yesterday it was 29F when we started fishing, right now it's 68F sunny and windy.
98Z5V Posted April 22, 2017 Report Posted April 22, 2017 Looks like it was a great time - good work out there!!!

Malig8r Posted April 24, 2017 Report Posted April 24, 2017 The worst part is that my parents are all retired and I have to keep reminding them that I STILL HAVE TO WORK and just can't head out any old time they feel like doing some fishing. I do reserve deer season as a vacation time slot though...used to do the same for elk when I lived in Washington.

That's why I guess Saginaw Bay. The walleye fishery is coming back strong there.
