Building the flamethrower isn't the hard part nor the ignition for the nozzle, what was hard for me was getting the fuel to gel like napalm. What have you done along this problem? Kerosene, diesel, or gasoline?  I've used powdered sugar in unleaded.

Soap, Grandpa used Tide and gasoline when I was a kid, late 60's early 70's. I'm not sure what it was in the soap that actually gave it a thicker consistency when mixed.
