When you're out here for the Fall Shoot, we can visit them if you want.  They're right here in Glendale, brother, off 51st Ave.

That would be fuckin cool my brother. Always interested in seeing a working shop in action. Do they do the machining there?

Right on the premises, start to finish.  Depending on how much time you want to do all this - add to the trip - we can hit several different places, probably in a couple days.  If we go to Dane Armory, we'll be there all day long - Lance can talk, and it's never boring. The info you can take away is invaluable...  and fucking hilarious...  :lmao:

Timney triggers are right here, too.  I'll talk face-to-face about that, but you guys need to make sure to have a pocket full of green dollar bills when we visit.  They don't have a "storefront or showroom," but they let you visit them.  They don't sell directly to the public...

I could hazard a guess. I'd use 416.

That would've been my guess as well due to heat treating concerns but the guy I just spoke with at Young Manufacturing just told me they've never made a stainless steel BCG. Maybe confusing stainless with hard chrome? I'm a huge fan of their hard chrome BCG's and run National Match carriers in almost all of my AR's, besides the rifles that have Gemtech Suppressor BCG's. Regardless, thanks for the info.

As fas as I can tell the Nitrated BCG that I have is holding up well , as is the NIB coated one , but I do like the Chrome ones as well . Thing is , Hard Chrome has been used in AR BCG's ( & Barrel Lining ) for a very long time & I have one thats still in service , a Phosphate Bolt & Carrier with Hard Chrome lining for the Bolt , that I built in the late Seventies , so these other new finishes have a lot to prove.

I was skeptical , at first, about the Nitrated Barrels , but they are easy to clean & even the less expensive one I have , seems to shoot good . Maybe even easier to clean then a Chrome lined . Time will tell .
