jtallen83 Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 So I can buy expensive, overpriced chunks of gold or silver from certain bankers and it counts as a retirement investment. I thought why not invest in lead, copper, and brass with those funds that wall street banks seem to think is theirs. They tell me no way can it be kept as an investment in that form, if it were in futures that don't really exist then there is a method......... Why can I not invest my retirement money as I see fit! https://www.brownells.com/ammunition/rifle-ammo/lake-city-5-56mm-nato-xm855-bulk-barrel-prod124685.aspx?avs|Special-Filters_1=In%2bStock&avs|Price_1=800xzzx00%2bTO%2b*
unforgiven Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 Great investment choice brother, and it has a long shelf life.
bubbas4570 Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 I do the same, just roll my own instead.

I bought about 5,000 rounds of the 7.62 Malaysian ball ammo from SG when it was cheap ($100=300 rounds). He raised the prices to the point I just started buying the MEN. The stuff I got was clean and sealed, 1983 vintage Edited December 23, 2018 by Ravenworks
unforgiven Posted December 23, 2018 Report Posted December 23, 2018 That German MEN is good ammo IMO.
Sisco Posted December 23, 2018 Report Posted December 23, 2018 (edited) 27 cents a round is getting it close to 7.62x39 steel case ammo prices! Edited December 23, 2018 by Sisco
jtallen83 Posted December 23, 2018 Author Report Posted December 23, 2018 Even if I were dumb enough to pay $1 a round why does the government get to select what I invest in for retirement? How did we let this happen? All I want is TRUE LIBERTY!
Hbadger18 Posted December 24, 2018 Report Posted December 24, 2018 I tell my wife all the time that guns and ammo are an investment. Glad to see there are other like minded people in the world!
