08sniper
Let's hear it . What are your recomendations for optic on rifle? I see alot of primary arms fans never had one of thier upper end scope but I do have a 1x4 on an ar. I like vortex stuff

08sniper
Steel and paper out to 800. Mainly want reviews on primary arms stuff and other reasonably priced optics. 4x14 on low side but I also want it to look good on the gun and not look like the Hubble telescope. Compact with good power I guess if there is such a think. Long scopes look descent on bolt guns but not so good on AR style rifles IMO. Thanks
Belt Fed
I put a bushnell 3x12x40 on a couple of mine, they look good on one and are pretty clear. When I was sighting one in it fell off the table and landed on the scope. didn't knock it off. it may break tomorrow, who knows. right now I'm happy with them. 08sniper
On good upper and rails can you spread out mounts? Or is this a no go.

You never want to bridge the receiver and the rail with your scope, setting it up for some bad vibrations compared to just staying on the receiver. Never seen an issue with hanging a bunch of scope out there when using quality equipment.
98Z5V
Can can't go wrong with that PA 4~14 ACSS HUD DMR .308 scope. The reticle is what makes it fantastic, all the way out to that 800 yards.
08sniper
Thanks I just ordered the aero precision ultra lite mount and I think for the time being I will mount my well used leupold 4x14 just to get things started and see how she shoots. My go with primary arms 3x18 when it is in full production.

HotRod308
I don't remember if it was Leupold or Vortex when I called them about a military discount, they referred me to either govtx discount program or experticity web site. Then Nightforce requires you to send your drivers lic with the special marking on it identifying one's self as a veteran, after that they send you a discount price list. Do you go direct to Vortex then? That's a good discount by far, saving money to buy more bullets is a good thing. Good luck to you Sir.
