We are up at NE Dragway for the no prep series. These guys are cooking, no doubt, and the show doesn’t ever give an idea how fast. They are running with only a win light but.... someone may have seen a slip. 

 

60 ft in the 1.0’s

1/8 in the high 3.90’s

 

That puts them in the 5.60-5.75 range

I watched the first season or two of that show. Damn those cars are nasty...I just get bored of the background fake drama they always try to introduce.

Sure is dumb, even live they do it, but the cars are straight evil!!! At the big end they were over 200mph in the 1/8.

Come on up to Norwalk raceway for an old fashioned weekend of run what ya brung.

There's a lot of butt hurt people,but they play by the rules and have good sportsmanship, something made for TV will never have.

And in my mind that is the whole thing in a nutshell.

Run and lose your car, thems the rules,no drama.

The No Prep Kings came to Deming and spanked the local racers BIG time! Walked away with over $8k of the locals' money! It was great! I've been into dragracing ever since I got my first driver's license and these local guys have never impressed me. The only thing they do that impresses me is spend a lot of money on high dollar parts and break the schit out of them!
