At least by the sounds of it the shooting ranges should be open.  Just not the one closest to me until maybe July.

I've thought about going to our cottage and setting up a hub blind on the ice for a shelter with a small heater in it.  Then shooting up to 850 yards at a target using the shoreline hill that is our frontage property as the backstop.  The ice is thick enough to drive on and the snow isn't too deep yet.

Hey, we love yankees down here, at least the gun totin' ones! So far, the ones who have made the trek have had no complaints about the southwest cuisine!:thumbup:

I was going to come down one year but then the wife got pregnant again. Haha. 
 

I hope to be able to come down for the spring or fall shoot within the next year or two.

As long as Hemi finds a way to bring some of his wife’s prepared meals, or figures out how to get her there in person...there will be killer food.
