Guy's I lapped the receiver and bedded the barrel with loctite 609 and the results are phenomenal. I went from a two inch group to this. The two shots on the right I was dialing in the scope. I am a happy camper. This is the best forum that I have found.

Care to share the details? Since getting a borescope I've been thinking about that.

I don't think he lapped the bore he lapped the receiver, the receiver face perhaps.

Yes sir my PSA gen2 308 is a tack driver, but this gen3 just wasn't accurate until I lapped it.

Factory barrels are luck of the draw.  If I can get 1 moa without doing something crazy I'm pretty happy.  I have an aftermarket barrel on my bolt gun that's under half with the best load and about half with another.  It also cleans with almost no visible copper.

I took the barrel off and used the wheeler AR308 lapping tool. I lapped the face of the upper receiver until it was true and then bedded the barrel with 609 Loctite. There are some very good videos on youtube showing you the process.

I also hand lapped the barrel using a fine valve grinding compound on a patch and a 308 jag making seven complete passes with it.
