Don't know how many of you guys ever watch any of this, but you need to see this one.  4.5 hours, plan it out.

This is the interview with DJ Shipley, Don Shipley's son.  It's unreal.

At the end of my .mil career, I went through alot of the shiit that he tells at the end of this interview.  Done it  - docs pushing drugs.  Injuries, Docs pushing the fucking meds, etc.  It's pretty wild to see this, in an interview, and someone straight up opening up about it.  I did the pills those quacks gave me for about a week and a half, and went back and told them to fuk themselves.  No fucking way was that working for me.  Gabapentin was the one that made me tell them to fuk themselves - for back and neck pain, from ruptured discs and bulging discs.  Fuk that drug.  That shiit was crazy... 

This is a wild interview.  Connect the dots, listen to the names.  It's a mind-blower.

Just got through this one. Damn…that guy has put himself through some stuff and back again. So much help in some of those stories. I hope it gives numerous others the chance to reflect. The “just say it” realization and the astonishment of not being alone, the similarity of everyone else’s story is an eye opener.

Not unique to the military for sure, that's about the only type of medicine I can find with insurance these days, push push push the pills, they got a pill for everything....they think anyway. Gabapentin is a joke, they just up the dose till the side effects distract you, there's about three others they push in that class, all of them pour water on my mental fire and that's not an acceptable thing. Turmeric does way more for me than any of that crap.

Yeah, fuk that drug.  It made the neck and back pain go away, but I was a fucking zombie for the first 3 hours after taking it.  Nope.  Fuk that.  "Here's the rest of the 30-day bottle Doc - you can keep it."

What I went to for back and neck was an inversion table, and a daily morning pop of Glucosamine HCI 1500mg with a MSM kicker at 1500mg.  Bottle says two per day, but only one in the morning has me in good shape.   Right now.   The shiit just supports your cartilage. And it doesn't fuk you up in the head.

Since we're on a roll here...   This one ain't Shawn Ryan's podcast, but it's a badass interview with John "Shrek" McPhee.  The Sheriff of Baghdad.  This is a funny fucking interview, and it's only 1:46 this time...   :lmao:  This dude can tell an Army story like none other...   :laffs:

Pay attention to about 1:11 in the vid, and the story...  :lmao:

"I don't give a fuk about savages...  When I was out alone, you know, I'd be like, Hmmm...   there's 8 people in this house, I will kill EVERYBODY, take the vehicle, and I will be outta here...  and it's not a thing...   "   :laffs::hail:

Shipley's Interview was heavy stuff had to take a break from that can 't process it all in one sitting those guys words cannot describe how much we owe them respect and Thanks....

Here's the very first Shawn Ryan podcast.  Mike Glover.  Another good one.  SF guy, CIA contractor afterwards.  This one runs right around 2.5 hours. 

Lot's of "unloading" here.  Worth your time.  :thumbup:

Here's a mind-blower.  Tu Lam. 

I met this guy at SHOT Show 2020.  I worked with this guy, and didn't even know it, at the time, in the same unit, in early history.  I was at Fort Lewis, whilst he was in Okinawa at 1/1 SFG(A). 

Unreal guy.  almost 4.5 hours.   Plan it out. This is a great interview.

This guy is so badass that they made a Call Of Duty character out of him - the video game...  :hail:

Here's the follow up to this one, which was Ep 25 for the guy that interviewed Shrek.  Shrek made a request in 25 - to interview the interviewer!...   :laffs:
