1 and 1/2 hour of fishing. 8 whitefish, 3 over 24" and one Burbot. Dinner and then some.

Awesome way to start a day - I'm envious, living in desert.  There's water around, but it's fished-out, mainly.  I miss fishing, grew up on it as a kid.

I have to get up there sometime yet this summer or fall with my son.  I can run planer boards out of my boat right now and have a small manual downrigger coming this week that I'm going to use for Lakers in Trout Lake and deep Muskies.  Would love to get into some trout and salmon.

Nope not in the Midwest. That one in Florida is taking aim at our place though.

It did thanks for the wishes. The Florida place is paying for itself so far.
