I'm fairly new to owning firearms but not new to being around them. after a weekend of shooting at my uncles i started looking for a long range rifle for target shooting for fun, i like bolt actions but came across the DPMS LR-308 and loved the look (I've never really liked typical ARs but the "long range precision" version (sniper *hiss*) really appealed to my tastes) now I'm on the journey to build my own as my 2nd firearm. look forward to learning as much as i can and hopefully get one put together this year.
