Yesterday I went on about a 450 mile trip around trip around the east side of Wisconsin looking for snowy owls and rare ducks or what ever I could find. I think the looming storm put the damper on that. I did find a couple of cool old tugs in the Kewaunee harbor which is at the “base of the thumb” on Lake Michigan. One had Army Corp markings on it named “Ludington”. I like to go and google ships names I see on the lakes, and this one has some great history, it was at D-Day operating as a tug towing munitions across the English Channel.
