Best place for upgraded parts ?

Just picked up a new armalite and was wondering best place to buy upgraded parts and accessories. New to all this!

Lots of choices for handguards, first decide if where you want/need rails to be, if at all, also good to have the gas tube ,which is somewhat fragile, covered, so if you have an Armalite rifle length gas system, you're probably going to want a rail/ freefloat tube that is long enough to protect the gas tube. Also, there may be some (fairly easy) wrenching involved to remove/install the rail, along with some of the handguards mounting with proprietary barrel nuts that will require a matching wrench, along with a upper receiver vise block to hold the upper in place while you change the parts. None of this is particularly difficult, and once you've decided what handguard you want, the members here can give you any info you need on how to swap them.

Are the handguard, grip and adjustable stock the as the ar-15??? Im looking for either the dark green or sand color in those above parts. Cant seem to find them for Ar-10....

The grip and stock, except the magpul prs stock are the same. Handguards are very specific to the. 308 ar, and to type (dpms/ar15 pattern vs armalite ) Do you have a general idea what you are looking for in the handguard?

Rails? Smooth? Combo?

It sure would help if we knew which AR10 you got. Also an idea on what you are trying to do would help.

Usually when people refer to "handguards" they are talking about the two piece fixed system. These fit between the delta ring and gas block. Otherwise people look at "free float rails/tubes" that only attach at the barrel nut.

In either case, you have the decision of smooth or railed. You also have weight options from carbon fiber, polymer and aluminum.

Not all AR15 parts can fit the 308AR. Some AR15 parts can be modified to work.

I read that you plan on hunting white tail with this rifle. Are you walking or in a blind?
