netsecsys Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 Been a lurker for over a year. Finally posted yesterday but failed to poke my head in here to introduce myself. Former Marine that loves to shoot. Was a M1A fan until I figured out that M16s were not meant to be run dry and it is easier to swap an upper than carry both a SOCOM II and a Supermatch. Recently sold my LMT MWS and bought a LaRue OBR 16" 762 (now saving for glass and have to live with an ACOG TA11E). Shoot Ed Brown Special Forces Carry 1911 and EDC the same. Wife shoots a Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm 1911 and a KAC SR15. Into sustainable living ideas (not because I'm green but just want to rely on myself more than others), alternative energy production, and off-grid living (I am not but working towards it as one of our goals).Hope to learn much here. <thumbsup>Thanks.
