Finally got around to putting up a video of the buffer release tool I made 6 - 8 months ago. Enjoy......

That's what the end of the charging handle is for - use it to push the buffer detent down.  <thumbsup>

I like the tool you've made, but if the charging handle does the same thing, then there's nothing extra I need to carry with me, or keep track of.

Yeah, brother - the hook on the end, that goes into the receiver first - use that thing to push the detent down.  <thumbsup>

Make sure the hammer is back (cocked) and safety on, so the buffer will clear when it shoots out...  <laughs>
