Spaniky73
I am a big guy 6'3" 270. I have never had a problem hefting around my rifle. My wife on the other hand my wife is 5'3". She says "it too heavy". So I broke down and weighed it. 19.5lbs with a full poly mag. What kind of weights are you running?
MikedaddyH
Totally awesome gun ! That is a 1/2 pound heavier than my 24" bull barrel DPMS beast. Your better half is right ! Its is TOO heavy ! Love the brake on it ,saw those for $86, want one for my 300 Blackout build. <thumbsup> :sniper:
planeflyer21
Mine is probably about where Mike's is but I don't have an accurate scale.Jon
unforgiven
I think the last time I weighed my Standard Operator with full steel mag no bipod was 13.5 or 14.5 lbs.
Spaniky73
Too heavy for some but my buddies and I setup a PWC ranging from 20-200 yards that was 0.5 miles long. I didn't really have a hard time. I was huffing and puffing at the end but no worse that the guys running 5.56s. Also the brake was only $35 on Amazon. "Shark style muzzle brake". Works great. 98Z5V
12.75 lbs empty. Add exactly one more pound for a Pmag loaded with 20 168gr bullets.
Spaniky73
What kills me on the weight is the half quad at almost 3lbs and the bipod at 1.5lbs. But all that weight up front allows for some very quick fallow up shots.
