EDIT:  Removed the clip.  When watching it again, the reporter said "Earlier this week the shooter tried buying."

Older than I thought.  They still need hanging though.

No rifle was used in the Sandy Hook shooting, 2 more handguns were used for a total of 4 (confirming my suspicions that a small town medical examiner has no experience in rifle shootings).  The shooter attempted to purchase a second rifle on Dec. 11 but was flagged under the current background check system.

Finally, on Dec. 13 the shooter went to the school where the shooting took place and got into a verbal confrontation with staff.

This, IMO, is a failure of the system in place already or blatent incompetence and deriliction of duty of public officials in the area (the mother of the Tucson shooter had used connections prior to keep her son out of the system, may be the same here...just speculating).

Those that are using this even to further their political agenda are below scum and deserve nothing less than to be hanged publicly by the neck, until dead.  Every politician, every reporter, every newsanchor, every bureaucrat.

The American public has been stuffed full of lies and bad information, but yet beleive what they are being told. What happened to telling the truth. I work for a government agenencey and the newspaper reported a story incorrectly, of course the incorrect articile was where the public reads and the correction was a small 2 liner somewhere. Just wondering where the world I grew up in has gone.

FWIW I have worked with small town medical examiners, many times. So are the LEO investigators who should be working with him and should be trained in homicide school wtf wounds look like.

They are able to tell the difference between a rifle bullet and a pistol bullet when removing a round from a body, or, in most cases, when examining a wound cavity and bullet path.

There is someone much higher up the food chain running the media show than the ME.

He may be the designated fall guy if they are trying to hide this, but he knew.

Got a message from a bro on another forum, said the guy that did the clip I removed pulls the same crap as the media...editing out favorable bits, making it inflammatory.

So I pulled it, when I realized the reporter said "The shooter had tried to buy a second rifle earlier this week."  That means it was from the 15th or 16th.
