What Troy MRF is that??? did it come with a DPMS 308 sized barrel nut??

Looks VERY sweet..  <thumbsup>

What do they mean 'dremel a small notch for the gas tube to pass thru'??

Doesn't the barrel nut have holes all the way around for it go thru?? got any pics of that part of the install??

Looking to go same direction with my incoming 16" DPMS w/A3 top..

MRF-308.  It does come with a DPMS barrel nut.  Dremel the small notch - The way the rail locks to the barrel nut; there's a raised ring all the way around the smooth barrel nut.  No notches or holes that the gas tube passes through the barrel nut at all - it goes right over the top of the barrel nut.  However, it won't clear that raised ring.  Once you torque it down, you have to dremel down that raised ring so the gas tube can lay right on top of the barrel nut.  Basically, you just "clearance" that raised ring.  <thumbsup>

Here's an Armalite AR-10 barrel nut - the Troy nut looks just like this, except the outer ring doesn't have notches - just round all the way around it.  You'll make your own notch once it's tight.
