When I used to live in Chistochina Alaska I watched these bush planes do this everyday.

I was never ceased to be amazed.

Riding in these stripped down Pipers will scare the hell out of you.

Pretty bad ass <thumbsup>

So, was that what google came up with in your search for bush? <laughs>

Nnoooo!!

That's what came up on YouTube searching for "STOL".

Besides...you don't search for "bush".  You search for "hairy milf".  <laughs>

I wounder how many props they went through learning that landing.

Guessing you mean the bushpilots.  Quite a few.  Alaska has the highest number of airplane crashes of all the states and little surprise.

Those dudes have some great stories of innovative thinking!

We had the Harriers on my ship when they took off it wasn't so bad but when they come in for a landing at full power even with our hearing protection those things were LOUD. On my last deployment before I separated we over due for dry dock but a little skirmish called Desert Storm broke out so when the harriers tried to take off the nonskid on the flight deck started to peel off fodding the engines, after loosing 4 engines they grounded them.
