Robocop1051 Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 Fukc ejector pins! There has to be an easier way.
Robocop1051 Posted March 31, 2013 Author Report Posted March 31, 2013 Well, lots of 4 letter words later... A set of channel lock pliers helped a LOT.
98Z5V Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 Sounds like you worked WAY too hard, bro - here's all you needed, with a cut-down casing, maybe 1/4" of the base, at the most:
Robocop1051 Posted March 31, 2013 Author Report Posted March 31, 2013 Where the hell were you an hour ago!!! I'm more pissed that I didn't think of that...
98Z5V Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 poop, I would have been at your place, had I known! <dontknow> You cut the case short, so there's not so much "spring leverage" when the end of the round is on the bolt face. Stays put that way. It's in there strong enough to tap the pin right out. I have a small, drilled piece of wood (hole) for the bolt tail to go into. Loosen up mini-vise, and everything slowly comes apart. <thumbsup>
DNP Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 That needs photos and a full write up...then sticky. I'm on my way over with the camera...don't move. Unless you're outta beer, then I suggest you go get some more.
jrtMA Posted March 31, 2013 Report Posted March 31, 2013 Ha...the hole in my hand is almost completely healed up from my exploit in this area.
