unforgiven Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Best all around tool, vice grip vice grip with a ring welded to the end.Ring is from electric motor cut off threads weld to the end.Used it for pushing in pin for bolt release.Didn't think of trigger guard but I will use it for that also.Where the end of handle [where screw part is] spot of weld there to hold it together.Lots of uses.
lasher Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 anyone tried this tool for tapered sight pins?

Robocop1051 Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 Best tools for the tapered pins are the Brownells tapered pin block and a BFH.

Robocop1051 Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 I lost my vice grips in the backyard... found them in the edge of the lawn a year later. They look like shiit, but they work.

Malig8r Posted July 30, 2015 Report Posted July 30, 2015 Or spit on it and try again. And don't forget to tell her to cup da balls <thumbsup>
agr1279 Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 I bought one and I do use it. Even though lowers are plenty cheap right now and even I don't use it much it works pretty slick. Dan
