Matt.Cross Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 (edited) Tomorrow (Saturday, 7/24/13) anti-gun idiots all over the US are planning to abandon the Starbucks franchise for a single day to make a point about their decision to allow customers open and concealed carry on their property in permitting states: Link If you enjoy coffey or anything Starbucks carries, you can show your appreciation for their stance by joining myself and other gun owners across the nation by walking into your local Starbucks and buying yourself something you'll enjoy. Be sure to let them know at the counter that you appreciate their stance and are acting accordingly. Nothing could make me happier than Starbucks having a record income spike on 7/24/13. shepp Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 I like their iced tea as a few people had said on a FB page I follow they don't drink coffee and didn't know they had other options. They got pretty damn good baked goods too. Ill hit the drive thru up with my truck plastered in pro gun stickers
blue109 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Taking the family in the am tomorrow. Thx for the heads up
blue109 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Just finished my mocha and some delicious pastry thing covered in fruit. Didn't see any other OCers but more important...nobody seemed to notice or care about the holster on my hip. Just another busy day at Starbucks. Protest fail.
imschur Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Didnt know they had iced tea. I will try it tonight
george_995 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Damn, closest SB is thirty miles from my house. Love their hot coffee and stance.
imschur Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Im in CT, close to Newtown/Sandy Hook. The Newtown Starbucks closed a few weeks ago when there was supposed to be a pro 2A support day.
blue109 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 I just left a comment on the protest Facebook page lol. I wouldn't recommend going there and reading the comments unless you want to facepalm
MikedaddyH Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Im in CT, close to Newtown/Sandy Hook. The Newtown Starbucks closed a few weeks ago when there was supposed to be a pro 2A support day. Really !
blue109 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 my comment, and a response to my comment were deleted in 5min and I was banned. I watched and saw at least 6 other pro gun comments that were erased. Must be a full time job running that page lol.
