AR15 Magazines - Market Saturated?

Im seeing a lot of deals on mags and I mean A LOT. I found this one pretty unusual. Buy a 60 round Surefire and with two 30 round mags

I paid $120 for the surefire alone about a year ago.

I'm kinda hoping that's going to be the same with everything. That boom sparked a huge jump in production and my guess all along was that around September we would see a lot of great deals as the back orders have been filled and the surplus of inventory builds.

...which raises the question..... if the market is so saturated, why aren't they looking at expanding into .308 markets? Magpul 20LR's are the only reliable ones and they have literally vanished from the store shelves. That should be an incentive for CAA or whatever/whoever is making AR15 mags to get into the .308 game.

Hell, I even found CCI Standard 22LR ammo - at Wal-Mart - today!  Couldn't believe it!

Every AR magazine rack at Sportsman's was full last week...then the truck came, with a couple of shopping carts full of AR mags.

 

Crap!  I'm gonna have to build more rifles to take advantage of upcoming magazine sales!

I have been buying a few here and there. No problem getting mags now. My LGS has the rack full and a couple of cases in the back room.

I've seen 30rd PMAGs for $10 all over the place. I Havre seen many 20s or any 10s local.
