98Z5V Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Wash have you used this before? It tells me my mobile number Is in another city?? It's going off the local location of your service provider. They have a primary office in that other city, brother. Cracking cell numbers is tough these days. Used to be a piece of cake, but privacy laws and such now make it tougher. Many times you'll run a number, and you'll only get that city where there's an office - it means you're close, but you might not have the details needed. On the 608-931 number, I'm getting United States Cellular Corp in Janesville, WI. You can always register a complaint with them, man... <thumbsup>
shepp Posted September 27, 2013 Author Report Posted September 27, 2013 Thanks guys!!! Maybe ill just dial them up and have a talk with them....
washguy Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 Wash have you used this before? It tells me my mobile number Is in another city?? did you pay the 2.95 for the details? Wash
shepp Posted September 27, 2013 Author Report Posted September 27, 2013 Not yet you done it before? It safe ?
98Z5V Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 It's safe - the "free services" are all but gone now, and that's due to the privacy aspect of it, in this internet age. Paying is the only way to go these days.
unforgiven Posted September 28, 2013 Report Posted September 28, 2013 I am surprised at the amount of info that can be had.
