Y'all know how it is, I got this here new LR-308 gun offa lay a way an 'bout runned outta munny so I dint have a bunch left over fer wun a them fancy telly scopic sites. Feller at the pawn shop says, "I got this here good ole Weaver K-4 what wuz on my Daddy's squirrel gun an y'all kin have it fer $15". Well I tookt it an put it on that there new gun an it looked purty good 'till long 'bout the third shot when I heered a spoink sound an wun uv them glass thangs fell rite out on the shootin table!  Well, I kin tell you I wuz some kinda upset with that there feller in the pawn shop fer sellin me a de fek tiv shootin site. So I dun whut any ole Hillbilly ud do, I went down in the holler an runned off a couple gallons uv shine (dint drank much but hit wuz rite temptin!) an sold it to a feller I knowed what works fer the Sherrif.  Then, seein as how I had me some munny, I went back to the pawn shop fer 'nuther site.  He had wun a them Nye Cons whut he said wuz made fer a big ole gun but whut wuz named after a purty little orange butterfly (whoda thunkit?). Put thatun on with them reel tall mountin thangs he gimme and that ole gun shoots reel good and them glass thangs don't fall out no more! Only problem I got now is that if'n I want ta shoot reel fur (like maybe 'cross Bubba's big ole corn field an pig pen) how can I git me some more elevation when I dun 'bout runned out uv clicks on that there twisty thang on top?  If'n Y'all got any idears I'd be rite appreciative.

Well now, you gotta get yourself one of them there pickin' tinny rails you read about in them fancy-shmancy shootin' forums that adds in MOAs to yer tellyscopic sights. You kin get heaps more clicks outta them thar knobs when you use them dang ol' picky-tinny rails. The more MOA's they build into 'em, the more clicks ya kin spur.

I snuck off frum the farm duther day an went back to the pawn shop.  I ast Junior ifn he had any uv them pickin tinny thangs an he rekoned he had sum 20 mo in stock.  Well I tolt him I dint need 20, jest 1 an he siad I wuz sumpthin cunfused but he got me one an put it on that ole gun. Who We! Now I got a hole bunch uv twistin' left on that there nob.  I ken shoot plum cross Bubba's corn field, his pig pin, an slam to the other side uv Billy Joe's spechel flowerin weed field (that stuff don't smell like turbacca but seems he gits a lota enjoyment outa smokn it).  Thank fer yer help an Y'all come set a spell.

I may be in Florida now cause I came to my senses but I was born and raised in the hills of West by God Virginia and have an ex-wife and daughter in eastern Tennessee.

I've had my share of sliding off the road.

Not many hills down here but half naked girls year round.
