600hpSBC
Tested both of the "new guys" today and could not be much happier with the results...Proud Papa:-) 338 Fed is a 20 inch light contour hunting barrel....Built it to knock down big hogs:-) Shoots better than I had hoped, so no complaints there... 260 is meant as a long range target/varmint rifle. 24 inch heavy contour barrel. Need to get the loads a bit hotter, but man does it shoot too! Barrels have polished chambers and feed ramps. If there is interest in either from anyone, let me know. Might offer them for sale;) KBob Kinetic Performance and Machine, LLC

EasyEJL
I have pondered doing a 338 federal, but haven't been able to find a barrel at a reasonable price when I actually had the money to pay for it :)
600hpSBC
It looks like from here the 338 would be in higher demand...l'm thinking the initial offering will be in that caliber...less than 900 bucks it looks like....Be safe all... Robocop1051
Hi everybody will that 338 work on a DPMS G2? All you need is a new barrel... only problem is there are no G2 barrels on the market yet. You can have your current barrel bored out and rechambered for the .338 Fed.
