seasprite Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Got out to do some fishing after working and saving my pennies for a new scope and felt good to get back to the lake and relax some. Just to bad the fish weren't biting but it was a beautiful day <thumbsup>

98Z5V Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 ya, we've slayed the crappie at that spot before. Love those little bastards, fillet them, batter them, cook some mushrooms... As a kid, I'd hit the reservoir early in the morning, right after a paper route. Bluegill, crappie and eggs for breakfast. <thumbsup>

Now I'm hungry Sea now thats what im talkin bout ! fresh air and fish ! :) Wash This sucks we had a big storm move through yesterday lots of rain and hail and the temps dropped about 20*. So instead of having mid 60's to 70* for highs were in the 40's to 50's. Thats going to effect the spawn and make it harder to find them. Were thinking next week it should be on and going to try to hit it hard.
seasprite Posted April 29, 2014 Author Report Posted April 29, 2014 Sprite idk walleye is pretty hard to beat That same lake has some fine walleye in it I've caught a few out of there but I'm going to have to give the crappie the edge its close though.
