Home made monopod

This is what you do while waiting patiently for a backordered hand guard  that is still 3-4 weeks out. I started out by basically copying an atlas monopod by looking at pictures. I didn't like how it stuck out from the stock when collapsed so...... I started doodling on my own take. I then came up with this design.

 

 

So far I like it but I've yet to really use it. Im waiting for my alpha hand guard and Ive got an atlas bipod coming too. What do you guys think?  I still have to countersink the screw and use a flat head so its flush and work on finish.

Well I wouldn't we say shot the hell out of it but we did manage to get a few rounds through it.  As far as the range report, I'm lazy.  I have to snap a couple pics of it and I will definitely post it up.  Big thanks for all of your help along the way sir!  <thumbsup>
