ARBandit
I added my first AR-10 (Armalite .308) to my collection at a gun show about a week ago. I've been using some PMC ammo I picked up at the show as well and have been having ejection issues. After inspecting the bolt, I noticed the extractor had a little damage to the 'claw' and I bought a new on from cheaper than dirt and replaced it. Had it at the range this morning and am still having the ejection issues. It fails about 2/3 of the time. My next project will be to replace the ejector. Any other things you guys can think of? Matt.Cross
Might be a tight chamber, I'd try a couple brands of premium match ammo through it to see if those cases give you the same issues.

Your issues start with your fix, highlighted, bolded, underlined in RED. With that aside, what did you buy? Do you kow if it's a factory rifle, or something cobbled together by someone and sold at a gunshow? Call Armalite with your serial number, and ask them the details of the rifle. Get all their specs. Report back once that's accomplished. It's the only place to start.
planeflyer21
Screw Cheaper Than Dirt, as they are lower than snakes. They deserve to go out of business.
Matt.Cross
I agree on going with Armalite's service department for parts and advice. Welcome to the forums!
Sisco
I agree on going with Armalite's service department for parts and advice. Welcome to the forums! Armalite has a great service department, and if it is new, a limited lifetime warranty. Use it if you can.
Rsquared
Always! Always! ALWAYS use Armalite parts in your Armalite rifle. Some parts can be supplemented......ie, buffer, selector, trigger.....yada yada yada. But when it comes to the carrier. Stick with factory parts. Period. Now that I got that out. Pretty much the same questions as the guys have already asked above.
