98Z5V Posted October 2, 2014 Report Share Posted October 2, 2014 Magnification - just like putting a magnified scope on your rifle. You can't see the front sight post through the scope, usually when you've got it about 1.5 power and up. The reason that happens is because the scope is already focusing beyond that distance, where your front sight post is on the rifle. Same thing here.
