Yes, I have been drinking plenty of bourbon tonight. But I still love all of you bastards like brothers. (We need a pants down hug emoji for these situations, but rarely used.) ETA I am typing this with one eye closed so I don't get confused where I am typing.

It's not in the mail but gun dealer showed me a sweet Wilson Combat 1911 that he's asking $1400. I may succumb to the allure of a full size 1911. -

The shooting was live-streamed, as many church services are, but the video was taken down. I did not see it and have not looked for it.

It was just recently that carrying in church was "legal." It had not stopped me though. It is sad that churches have become a target. But here is some more praise for those who took quick action. I hope they do not suffer any consequences, legal, emotional or financial.

What are you hunting and at what distances? A 16 or 18 inch barrel should give you plenty of accuracy and velocity for almost any situation. These rifles can get heavy in a hurry, especially if you are carrying them around.
