Like many on the forum, I have several and can't say enough good things about them. I will echo jt and say it's the best bang for your buck.

Susan's former brother-in-law was one of the people who started Nighthawk. He is no longer with them, or her sister. I was offered a pistol for cost at one time. I was just out of school and had no money. I still kick myself for not getting it. I didn't think of the kidney though.

What type of sights are you using? If it's a scope, what is it and is it mounted tight? I would make sure of the basics before changing parts. Your Weatherby group shows that you obviously know how to shoot.

If the one you have is this one, then it appears to be DPMS pattern. That does not mean any one specific upper will fit it. I would call them or email them if calling doesn't work.

The short answer is no, most large frame ARs are somewhat proprietary. There are 3 main categories of 308ars: Armalite pattern, DPMS pattern and Rock River pattern. They are all different regarding receivers and they are not interchangeable. Even within the most common DPMS, there is no guarantee one manufacturer will fit and function with another. The best way to get the answer is to ask the manufacturer. You can also search the forum to see if someone else has posted the information.

@Robocop1051 and @98Z5V must be in the jail or the desert. There has been no reports from SHOT show.

I wouldn't picture @98Z5V going to a fortune teller.

No 300BO for me yet. I have tried to avoid adding a new caliber. I will likely succumb to it at some point though.
