  1. Be safe down there. All of the water we got will be heading your way in addition to what is coming from the sky.
  2. I would gladly share with everyone if I could. We had plenty to share. I stayed mostly dry. I hope those of you who need rain, get some, just not as much as we got.
  3. The only time we make the news is with severe weather or when people do really stupid things. That seems to happen more frequently than the severe weather though.
  4. I guess I got the last 2.
  5. Now a train derailment because of the flooding. http://abc13.com/news/2-rescued-from-derailed-train-submerged-under-water/1049056/
  6. We had over 17 inches yesterday and it's going to rain all day. Thankfully, I don't think anyone has died because of the flooding.
  7. I'm in as well. Thanks for the info.
  8. Good to know when that happens...again.
  9. Here is the foreclosure record from the public database. http://civilinquiry.jud.ct.gov/LoadDocket.aspx?DocketNo=AAN-CV-14-6017084-S New link
  10. It shows to be built in 2000, so no lead paint. As JT said, there has to be something that you can't see in the pics. There's a lot of paint and cosmetic work that needs to be done. There is very little furniture in the house including beds on the floor and no formal window coverings. To me, that says whoever lived there either didn't care about the property (renters?), or they didn't have enough money to do basic upkeep on the house.
  11. Not that you can see.
  12. Welcome from Texas.
  13. Welcome from Texas.
  14. Your grandma was cooler than mine. Mine just quilted and crocheted as a hobby.
  15. Welcome from Texas.
  16. If the gun store owners can be held liable for what a person does with a lawfully acquired gun , can we sue a university that educated a financial adviser who steals money from his clients? How about the law schools that produce people who take frivolous lawsuits? Or the hardware store that sells an axe used in a murder? The list can go on indefinitely. They all provide a tool that can be used illegally. If the store fraudulently sells guns to people who shouldn't have them, then prosecute away.
  17. Welcome from Texas.
  18. I'm raising a toast to him as I type.
  19. Welcome from Texas, north of you on 45 but south of wash.
  20. Depending on the caliber, the bullet itself likely weighs more than the case. The laws of physics dictates that the lighter part would be the one to be propelled. he could have been hit by the case just as easily. The ammo could have been in a hot car all day before going to shoot. It also could have been a reload that was loaded too hot. The story indicated that there was video of the incident. Hopefully it will be released once the investigation is complete.
  21. Another Texas welcome. And thank you for your service. I have been to the gun shows in Belton a couple of times. It a 2 hour drive for me, but I do it when I'm bored and want something to do.
  22. This may have been posted before. I think I remember it, but I will repost it anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol1wxsN411k
