  1. If you start a thread on the rifle's problem, you might get more answers. Not all symptoms have the same cause.
  2. Welcome to the forum. There are no stupid questions. You may be pointed to info previously posted that should answer your questions.
  3. It is nice to not need electricity to cook.
  4. I have had one for several years. It is where I made the pulled pork that I bring to AZ. The only drawback on the one I have is that you have to add wood chips every half hour or so. I liked it enough to buy a replacement when it wore out even though I have a pellet grill.
  5. @98Z5Vhas shot this distance or close to it with a couple of different barrel lengths in 6mm ARC.
  6. You're screwed by calling the Borg ”Star Wars." No guns for you!
  7. My current view...
  8. Dinnertime isn't until the brisket gets done.
  9. I would try the new tube in the good lower first. From what you have said so far, I suspect the new lower is the out of spec part. You might not need to measure. It could be tolerance stacking between parts and measurements would confirm that.
  10. Did you try the smoke composite tube on the other lower? If it fits without slop in the threads, then contact Wilson Combat about your lower.
  11. Do you have another buffer tube that you could test in the lower? And, do you have another lower you could test the buffer tube with? Those threads are universal between large and small frame receivers. Any of those parts made to spec should work regardless of platform.
  12. Welcome to the forum and thank you for the intro.

  15. @AKDan I knew @98Z5V would get it straightened out for you. Thanks for giving accurate and information about your rifle. You would be surprised how many people won't easily provide information to help fix their rifle.
  16. Welcome to the forum. There is some more info that will be needed to diagnose your problem. Visit this thread and get as much of the information as possible. You may need to drill your gas port, but there other things to look at as well. A rifle buffer should be OK for length and weight. Few companies mess that up. A couple of questions to start though. How many rounds do you have downrange with the rifle? How much lube did you use?
  17. Welcome to the forum
  18. I'm pretty sure this guy is a bot. He is all over the place with the variety of forums, all joined on September 8. ( Dungeons and dragons, heavy machinery, golf...) All responses are barely contributory to the conversation. I saw one other incidence of added text to a quoted post as well. https://www.google.com/search?q=stevenaughtonnsx11&client=ms-android-hmd-rev2&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
  19. What's the difference between a pregnant woman and a lightbulb? You can unscrew a lightbulb.
  20. Welcome to the forum.
  21. I just got my Mosin-Nagant (not carbine) out a couple of weeks ago and shot it out to 500 yards with open sites. It is only as accurate as the eyes and hands that are using it though. There are plenty of rifles that have a crowned barrel without a muzzle device that shoot very well. I imagine it would depend on the barrel, even within the same model rifle.
  22. There are many possibilities for your problem. I am going to direct you to this thread. it will give the most common issues and the information that you will need to supply so that we can help you get your rifle running the way it is meant to run. The more info you can provide up front, the easier it is to diagnose and offer suggestions to fix the problem.
  23. It can be safe, single shot or binary. There are three selector positions.
  24. You should have screen shot the conversation and sent it through another channel. It may be a culture with the company. It may also be a bad CSR that needs to be fired. That said, it was a crappy experience.
  25. This is my thought as well. The same can be said for a binary trigger, bump stock and forced reset trigger. All will expend ammo at an increased rate. Just because you can, doesn't mean you do it all the time.
