  1. I was wondering where you had been. It sucks that you needed rehab. But I'm glad you are better now. Leave the pegging for the younger folk and you shouldn't have that problem again. Glad you are back and doing well.
  2. Can you imagine shooting 22+1 of @MikedaddyH 10mm "semi-hot" loads?
  3. Those are damn nice looking pistols. I am an unabashed FN fan. I would have more of them if they weren't twice the price of similar firearms.
  4. @MarkLeupold, welcome to the forum. My first observation of your build is that it appears that you have assembled a short barreled rifle. A carbine buffer tube and a sub-16 inch barrel is a rifle that needs an NFA tax stamp. I just want to make sure that you don't unknowingly get a felony.
  5. That's a great shirt Rene.
  6. Armed With Only A Khukri This Gurkha Soldier Took On 40 Men And Saved A Girl From Being Gang Raped https://www.indiatimes.com/amp/news/armed-with-only-a-khukri-this-gurkha-soldier-took-on-40-men-and-saved-a-girl-from-being-gang-raped-247639.html
  7. Your recoil system looks good to go. The gas tube looks a little short. But my bet would be the gas port needing a little help. @98Z5Vis the gas port guru. You have provided the info he should need to tell you if, and how much, it needs to be expanded. @Bang.Ting could help as well.
  8. Welcome to the forum! If you have not bought a recoil system yet, get what is known to work. The carbine kit is out of stock at the moment, but you can frequently call them to order it. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT0 You can get the carbine kit with a stock if you like. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=10702302 A rifle length kit is also available without the stock. Any of these will work well. https://www.armalite.com/SACItem.aspx?Item=AR10REKIT02 I would recommend you to measure the gas port before installing the barrel.
  9. Robber shot and killed by armed patron of restaurant. https://www.khou.com/article/news/crime/taqueria-robbery-shooting-houston/285-5dceec19-9c07-444c-b211-4c584738e0fa
  10. Have you tried to source a barrel and bolt for it? Or would you have a barrel made for it? I am not all-knowing as far as calibers available. However, that is not one that I can easily say is available in the AR platform.
  11. Welcome to the forum.
  12. As @98Z5Vsays, dolphin rape is real. Be careful of your new neighbor.
  13. That is an awesome looking ride. You do good work.
  14. Sorry to hear about your cousin. Cancer is a bitch of a disease. Unfortunately, chemo is equally as bad.
  15. Happy New Year to yourself. I like FN firearms. That one is on my want-to-buy list.
  16. But it only ejects one without having to hand cycle. Large frame AR barrel manufacturers across the industry frequently drill their gas ports too small. They then pair it with a lighter buffer and/or weak spring to counter not enough gas. Please humor us and measure your gas port even if you think it isn't a problem. Weighing your buffer will also help us to make sure your recoil system is balanced to your gas system. These are the two most common problems causing the issue you are having.
  17. A couple of questions before you start changing things... Does it hold the bolt open on an empty mag after shooting with one round in the mag? Will it hand-cycle more than one round from a magazine? Have you tried an odd and even number of rounds in the magazine?
  18. I hope there are videos of this event to view later.
  19. You mean this one?
  20. Merry Christmas to all.
  21. Merry Christmas
  22. If you want a replacement buffer for your RRA, I would go with this one. https://heavybuffers.com/rra308car.html
  23. I think that @jtallen83has shot several of his rifles in subzero temps using the A-Z lube.
