Welcome to the forum. Aero makes a good foundation for a 308AR. Your prior rifle likely could have been made to run well with a tiny bit of effort. But, that is in the past. What are you looking for this time around? What is your intended use for the rifle? What kind of budget do you have?

Then that buffer should work. I will ask @98Z5Vto be sure that the orange spring is the correct one. I think it's correct, but I would want him to verify it.

I grew up in FW and live 1.5 hrs SE of there now. Still have family in and around there including close to where you live.

@GStephen What is the internal depth of your buffer tube? That will determine what buffer length you need?

@98Z5V Dance, monkey! Dance! https://juxxi.com/v/49886 @imschur, @shepp, @Matt.Cross, @Madhouse, is there a way to get links to videos from Juxxi (old Full30) to automatically show videos similar to YT links? I would rather limit enabling Google as much as possible.

I have that video in the Fall Shoot thread as well. The last several posts were about trying to post videos from Juxxi which is what Full30 became when they expanded their hosting to include other topics than firearms.
