  1. Other than the drugs and stealing electricity, I can admire these people. I would love to have the underground bunker. https://www.12news.com/article/news/local/arizona/mcso-arsenal-of-weapons-drugs-cash-found-in-waddell-bunker-mother-son-arrested/75-c22d4e22-5041-40d6-ac50-d95bc442e0b6? It is close to Tom. It looks like something he would help to build to perfect his plans before execution.
  2. What he said. ^^^. Either will work but rifle buffer tube is preferred. I have a PRS for a future build that I will use a rifle buffer tube.
  3. What @dpetesaid is correct that buffer tubes are interchangeable. I would ask one other question. What stock are you using? That will determine whether you need a carbine tube or rifle tube.
  4. There must be some... https://youtu.be/xBYV_7a0FQs
  5. I figured it was something like that.
  6. I didn't know that he was still alive.
  7. That sounds like my dad's rifle. We bought it for him for Father's day after he got a defibrillator implant and the doctor said he couldn't shoot long guns with recoil. It is a great gun.
  8. @Shooter1697there are many things to know besides large frame vs. small frame ARs. Even if you don't interact, I would recommend that you stick around and read the abundance of information available on the forum before you buy anything. As DNP said, there are multiple patterns of large frame ARs that do not work together.
  9. Do you have a trigger from any other AR that you could try? For most ARs whether small or large frame, there is no difference in trigger fit and function. If another trigger works in the new lower, then Davidson Defense has once again proven to sell substandard products. As Rex said, they do not have a good reputation.
  10. Welcome to the forum and keep coming for the Texas hogs. A state wildlife biologist said that a third of them need to be killed each year to keep the population from growing.
  11. That's a nice knife. I bought mine as a kitchen butcher knife.
  12. Great story Al.
  13. I found this at a local gun show. It is made out of Houston. I have done nothing with it except slice some leftover steak. I like it so far.
  14. That's one way to increase the post count.
  15. That's more money for ammo. You have to look on the bright side.
  16. That's great news! Glad to hear that it is running much better. Run some quality ammo through it to check better functionality.
  17. If you start a thread on the rifle's problem, you might get more answers. Not all symptoms have the same cause.
  18. Welcome to the forum. There are no stupid questions. You may be pointed to info previously posted that should answer your questions.
  19. It is nice to not need electricity to cook.
  20. I have had one for several years. It is where I made the pulled pork that I bring to AZ. The only drawback on the one I have is that you have to add wood chips every half hour or so. I liked it enough to buy a replacement when it wore out even though I have a pellet grill.
  21. @98Z5Vhas shot this distance or close to it with a couple of different barrel lengths in 6mm ARC.
  22. You're screwed by calling the Borg ”Star Wars." No guns for you!
  23. My current view...
  24. Dinnertime isn't until the brisket gets done.
  25. I would try the new tube in the good lower first. From what you have said so far, I suspect the new lower is the out of spec part. You might not need to measure. It could be tolerance stacking between parts and measurements would confirm that.
