  3. http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPSM6.5C-22M8 if you don't mind going with a 22". In my opinion jp enterprise is second to none. A little more pricey to other manufacturers but you definitely get what you pay for. JMM2C <thumbsup>
  4. Welcome, make sure you enjoy bojangles every chance you get. <laughs> deprived of their delicious chicken here in Florida. :'(
  5. Looks like you will be saving or sweating your credit card. <laughs>
  6. Thank you^^^ :{)
  7. Does Noveske bolt carrier groups have any roll marks? Considering trading for a noveske n4 upper, I wanted to make sure parts are what advertised. The upper is from a factory rifle. THanks guys. <thumbsup>
  8. Welcome from Florida.
  9. Going up to the 200m range at Hernando Sportsman Club this weekend(saturday). Will be shooting my maten308 build for the first time.
  10. I would want the noveske Leonidas, with a suppressor mounted. Maybe even take the full auto leonidas and make it a spr 18" version. :)
  11. This. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2515314827/spec-ops-ready-fire-mode-buttstock-magazine-pouch-ar-10-fn-fal
  12. My first CD purchase was from White Zombie, I was nine years old. <lmao> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Sexorcisto:_Devil_Music,_Vol._1 Don't know if he has Liberal views/stances, but he doesn't take any crap from Hollywood types.
  13. Love this movie. The remake was worth watching also. <thumbsup> I really like Rob zombies remake of the Halloween movies, the first one was twisted and portrayed Myers awesomely. >:D Wish RZ would produce a zombie movie, imagine that sh*t. <laughs> If you have seen Devils Rejects or house of a thousand corpses you can see were this would go. Most of the zombie movies as of lately have been pretty lame, with the exception of the Dawn of the Dead remake w/ Ving Rhames.
  14. Is the scope included?
  15. Welcome newt, nice rifle very clean look. 8)
  16. nice work <thumbsup>. But good god I can't stand when people (male & female) paint firearms pink :puke: IMO. I hope the clients atleast have huge boobs like the one episode of Gunsmoke, were as they had their gunsmiths paint a colt 1911 pink with white grips for the big breasted bimbo. :leghump:
  17. <lmao>, they would just blame the republicans. :cookoo:
  18. good to go.
  19. Per JP's instructions, they advise securing the end piece( as you called it) to the reciever with red lock tight. I believe they have instructions on PDF through their site. I used the red lock tight method, I secured my upper receiver in the dpms claw (delrin block) made sure it was level. then took a bubble level peice and set it on the large hole on top of the end piece(as you called it) making sure it was level while the lock tight set. I went to lowes and purchased a string level and busted it out of the plastic piece you hang on the string. When assembling my rifle I ended up having to grind down one of the tangs as suggested above, just take your time. I will post some pics if you need clarification of the end peice w/ bubble level. There are other methods available, especially if you plan on adding rail sections for back up sights. Mine came out really good, but I don't ever plan on using flip/fixed sights attached to the hand guard.
  20. That is crazy. I appreciate it. For some reason I was hoping for naked inmate pyramid stories....JK <lmao>
  21. Hey man, if you wouldn't mind. Would you share what the stories consisted of? You can message me if you want to be discreet about what you heard. Thanks
  22. I book marked that sight I have seen it before, pretty bad ass. When the time comes to mount the sight base I am referencing this post. Thanks.
  23. Basically what you have stated. I am going for something different, and with my rifle I am gonna use irons 90% of the time. So shadows being cast w/ optics is not a concern. I have a troy gas block mounted sight on one of my ar15's. I originally was going to get another gas block w/ rail (jp ent. .750")and mount it in same place, but got to thinking it would look bulky/stupid. I purchased the armalite clamp sight base. We will have to see were this goes when I receive it. I appreciate everyone's input.
  24. Thanks man. I used the link provided <thumbsup>. One thing though, the link provided has no detail on bore diameter for the item. Will have to call before ordering, that being said I am going with the armalite because it is less expensive. I cross posted this and some mentioned notching the handguard, this isn't an option for me. I would rather grind on the $40 sight base than the $180(roughly) handguard. <lmao> . Not loosing any sleep over this. I appreciate your insight. Thanks :ecs:
  25. My condolences also, hang in there man.
